Trans fats are atherogenic and carcinogenic.
Trans fats are deleterious without threshold, so the only health policy is zero industrial trans fat.
So why waiting 2018?
Simply check partially hydrogenated fat in the ingredients. If you read hydrogenated fat you can discard also as those fats are not 100% without trans fats.
