Home made bars for endurance

I think it is preferable to bring some fat like ventreche from pigs living outside or raw ham for long low intensity endurance workouts.
In high intensity endurance workouts you will need sugars and home made bars will provide you with high quality whole foods in bars.
You don't need syrup. Use Iran dates almonds nuts and other dried fruits with coconut oil.
